MY WHY
My journey with yoga began during the COVID period – a time when many things in the outer world came to a standstill and, at the same time, many questions inside became louder. During this time, I found a place of calm and stability on the yoga mat. Through daily movement, meditation, and breathwork, I quickly noticed that yoga became more than just physical balance for me. It not only helped me cope with stress but, above all, to rebuild a deeper connection with myself.
Over time, this personal practice turned into a real passion. I wanted to understand more – about the philosophy of yoga, the impact of the practice, and how it can sustainably change our lives. In 2023, I therefore decided to do my first yoga teacher training in the forests of Portugal, where I was able to dive deeply into the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga. Later, my path led me to India, where I completed my 300h advanced training in Rishikesh and deepened my practice in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga. In addition, I trained as a Yin Yoga teacher and complemented my work with sound healing using Tibetan singing bowls. All of these practices in combination allow me to support people in a special way on their inner journey and to inspire them with my style – both in an assisting role on various retreats and in leading numerous specials and day retreats.
Another important part of my journey was my training as a life coach based on the values of Jay Shetty. His approach combines modern personal development with the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and other yogic philosophies – a connection that resonated with me immediately because it matches my understanding of yoga. For me, it’s not just about personal goals or outward success but about becoming more aware of your own values, needs, and boundaries and making decisions that truly align with your inner path.
I have always had the desire, as a teacher, to support people in their personal growth. It fulfills me to create spaces where people can recognize their own potential – with the right impulses, tools, and a safe environment in which development can naturally unfold. For me, it’s also about remembering your own worth and the fact that every person already carries so much within them.
On a very personal level, yoga means an ever-individual journey to oneself – sometimes light and flowing, sometimes challenging and bumpy, but always valuable and worthwhile. Yoga not only strengthens the body but also the mind. It helps us understand our needs better, respect our boundaries, and build more inner stability and resilience step by step. This is exactly the space I want to create for you in my classes, coachings, and retreats – a space where you can arrive, feel yourself, and discover your very own path.
